Choreographer, Director, Producer - Maria Torres talks about the types of stories that get her hooked on a project, and working with her buddy, actor John Leguizamo whom she met in the early 90s and worked with on the film Summer of Sam. Since then she has been his go-to choreographer.

John Reddick of NYC’s Harlem Link Charter School shares a letter with HourGlass about how Maria Torres’ foundation MTEAF is motivating young people to put their best foot forward. This past November MTEAF introduced a new musical theater class to Harlem Links students who went on to perform the song “Fame,” on February 13, 2015, as part of an anti-bullying campaign and the students are now in rehearsals for the musical called the “True Colors of Weedle.” Book and Lyrics By June Rachelson - Ospa Music by Allison Brewster
